Master Ken Kuek’s USA MASTERS ACADEMY

Ryan is really benefiting from his martial arts training at the academy. We have noticed that he seems to be less shy/quiet in front of people and he seems to be speaking up more. The instructors make him feel secure enough to try new things. We can’t say enough about all the excellent instructors at the academy. We really enjoy that Ryan is a student here.

I am the mother of Gabriel Allen. A Tiny Tiger student. We have seen such an improvement in Gabe in the time he’s been at the Academy. He is better behaved, happier, and more confident in the things he does. I look forward to continueing this journey with him and the wonderful people at the Academy.

Healthy Lifestyle

I want to thank you for your Tai Ji program. As you know, I have been a student for two years now and I am very pleased with the benefits of training. I find it amazing to see the difference Tai Ji has made in my life. I definitely feel more relaxed in every situation. I find that I fall asleep faster and have a more restful night’s sleep. I am more limber, have a better sense of balance, and have toned and strengthened my legs. Thank you for your guidance, your patience and your willingness to share your expertise. I sincerely appreciate the benefits I have seen from the Tai Ji program.

Gabriels’ attitude and overall behavior has improved greatly since starting his program at USA MAsters Academy. He has improved at school. In the classroom he has better attention span and much improved listening skills. I believe that Gabe is becoming a better person because of his martial arts program. Thank you so much!

I would like to express my pleasure and gratitude to the USA Masters Academy for the positive changes in my son Braydon. Before joining the Academy, school was a struggle for him. It was a challenge for him to get a C on his tests and report cards. Homework was a challenge for both of us prior to joining. I received Braydon’s 5 week report over the weekend and I was so proud. His report was better than his sister’s. That has never happened before. Also, homework has been less a challenge. He stays focused on the task at hand and is doing it more independently. I truly believe that this positive turn around is a direct result of the teachings at the Academy, and my only regret is not starting him sooner. Thank you all!

Self-Discipline and Valuable Life Skills

One of the major benefits for our daughter is the development of the skill, to set and attain long term goals. We live in an instant gratification world where the immediacy of cause and effect surrounds our children every day. USA Masters Academy teaches self-paced development of ever-increasing goals. We learn today’s training will not immediately turn into tomorrow’s expertise, but will benefit you possibly years in the future. The self-discipline and dedication to the long term perfection of the art, is a valuable skill that has spilled over into other areas of our daughter’s life.

“As a parent, I spoke with the instructors about how they differentiate between what is learned at the Academy and “Power Rangers.” I was concerned that a young child might not know the difference. My fears were quickly put to rest. The amount of respect for the Martial Arts that is taught in your Academy is as important as the technique and form. I also greatly appreciate the focus on discipline in the classes. I think Sam’s experiences at the Academy helped him be more prepared for school and the focus and the discipline that it requires. Most importantly, however, your instructors know how to help children focus and be disciplined without being “disciplinarians.” Once again, as a Mom, that was important to me. Finally, we always feel welcome when we come to the Academy. You have instilled your staff and instructors with an understanding that both children and parents need to feel comfortable with all of the procedures and processes that make up a Martial Arts program. Sam has truly flourished at the Academy! Thank you for all that the Academy has done for him, and for all you do for so many around our community.”

Dear Master Kuek,

Today 3/9/10 I received a phone call from Taylor’s teacher. She had called to say that her self-confidence is improved significantly. In her small groups she has always been quiet and reserved. Lately she has been yelling out answers and the teacher is not sure who this girl is. She has made quick & significant strides latley. Thanks!
